1.  Secondhand smoke has been proven to kill everyone who comes in contact with it.  Do you favor a statewide ban on cigarette smoking in public places?

2.  You have a right to breathe clean air wherever you are.  Do you favor a statewide ban on cigarette smoking to prevent lowlife smokers from infringing on your God-given rights?

___ Yes           ___ No, I don’t need air

3.  Everyone agrees that smoke is smelly and disgusting.  Do you favor a statewide ban on cigarette smoking to keep your hair and clothes fresh?

___ Yes           ___ No, I really enjoy smelling like an ashtray

4.  Bar owners exaggerate concerns that their businesses will be affected by a smoking ban, but their arguments will lose impact if research shows more non-smokers will frequent bars once a ban is in place.  Knowing many politicians won’t vote to enact a statewide ban unless they believe businesses won’t be harmed, will you patronize bars a lot more, more, or a little more if a smoking ban is in place (Note:  you won’t actually have to go to smoke-free bars more frequently, only intend or be inclined to do so).
